Snow Branches

snowy branches

The space between tree branches forms some of the most beautiful shapes. It’s as if each tree has a personality only made apparent by the space running around and through it. I keep coming back to tree branch silhouettes. Good stuff.

  1. Hey Carl, I have some similar ink sketches that I worked on in my cubicle at work to keep my mind from falling apart. They were inspired by shapes found in my backyard garden, often very similar to the lines twigs form in the humus layer on the ground after Winter has ebbed. Most definitely good stuff. Nature is our master, not the other way around.

    1. Hey Martin! Indeed. Nature inspires me constantly, especially when my soul is crushed into a cubicle shape. A breath of fresh air. Would love seeing your sketches, do you have them up anywhere?
